These terms apply whenever you book a racket restring with Slough Strings. Please read them before dropping off your racket.

We restring badminton rackets to your chosen string and tension. Prices shown on this website include the string, labour, and a grommet check, and are correct at the time of publishing but may change.
Bookings are made by WhatsApp, phone or email. It's your responsibility to give us accurate details on string choice, tension, and drop-off date — if anything is unclear, we'll ask before we start work.
Slough Strings is not VAT registered, as our annual turnover is below the UK VAT registration threshold. No VAT is added to, or included in, any price shown.
Payment is due on collection, by cash or card. We don't require a deposit to accept a booking.
Our standard turnaround is 3 days, with a 24-hour express option available for an additional charge. Turnaround times are estimates, not guaranteed deadlines, and can be affected by demand or string availability.
We restring every racket with reasonable care and skill, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are not responsible for pre-existing frame damage, stress fractures, or grommet wear that surfaces or worsens during stringing. Please point out any known concerns with your racket when you drop it off.
If a racket isn't collected within a reasonable time of being ready (typically 30 days), we'll try to contact you using the details you gave us before deciding on further action.
You can cancel a booking free of charge at any point before dropping your racket off, simply by messaging us.
