Slough Strings ("we", "us", "our") provides badminton racket restringing services in Slough. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us or book a restring, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

When you book a restring with us, you get in touch over WhatsApp, phone or email. Depending on how you contact us, we may receive:
We don't use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technology on this website, so we don't collect browsing data when you simply visit the site.
We use this information only to arrange, confirm and carry out your restring order, and to contact you if there's a query about it (for example, confirming a tension or a collection date). Our legal basis for this is performance of a contract with you, or taking steps at your request before entering into one.
Our "Book a restring" button opens a WhatsApp chat. Messages you send us this way are transmitted and stored by WhatsApp, a service operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms, Inc., under their own privacy policy. We don't control how WhatsApp handles data in transit, only the messages we personally read and act on to fulfil your order.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third party.
We keep booking details only for as long as needed to complete your order and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of a follow-up query, then delete them. Message history may remain in WhatsApp itself until you or we delete the conversation there.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, email sloughstrings@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Our service isn't directed at children. If a parent or guardian books a restring on behalf of a junior player, we only use the information provided to fulfil that booking.
We may update this policy from time to time as our service changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
